A year of engineering capacity and work structure for Belgium's childcare administration platform.

Inforius is the Belgian tech company behind iMôme, a platform that runs the administration of nurseries, daycare centres and school canteens. Its scope is broad: automatic billing of services, a parent web portal (invoices, tax certificates, medical sheets, daily activities), pre-natal registration across multiple nurseries, digitised attendance via a mobile app and QR codes, holiday camps and after-school care, a multi-house mode for organisations running several sites, and deductible-childcare-cost calculations linked to the administration's accounting software. Inforius needed to grow and stabilise its development team, formalise its working structure and methodology, and keep delivery moving on iMôme without disruption.
We ran a staff augmentation engagement of roughly one year. Node.js and Angular engineers from DNA Solutions joined Inforius' team directly, adding delivery capacity where it was needed and bringing structure and methodology into the day-to-day way the team worked. Rather than carving out a separate project, our engineers integrated into the existing team to maintain and extend iMôme in continuity, so the product kept progressing while the organisation around it stabilised.
